Age 48. Born in Aizu, Fukushima, in 1959. Competed in domestic and international competitions as a member of Mogul Freestyle National Team under instructions of Yuichiro Miura since 1979, resulting in top ranks in World Cup competitions. Served as the National Team Coach for Japanese National Freestyle Mogul, instructing top class skiers such as the Gold Medalist Tae Satoya, Yugo Tsukita, and Gota Miura and was an Olympic Mogul Coach in 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics. Currently is a Project Manager for Miura Qomolangma 2008 Project as well as Event Planning and Operation Manager for Miura Dolphins events, tours, and outdoor programs for both children and adults.
